Information technology (IT) administrators maintain a company's IT network, servers, and security systems. They work in a company's IT department and may manage ticket queues and set departmental priorities.

  • MAN (metropolitan area network): MANs are typically larger than LANs but smaller than WANs. Cities and government entities typically own and manage MANs.
